We are a contemporary architecture and interior design practice focused on creating thoughtful, functional, and timeless environments. Our work spans a diverse range of projects—from hillside residences and vacation villas in Solan and Shimla to high-end corporate workspaces and residential interiors in Chandigarh and Delhi-NCR.
Our design philosophy bridges the raw, tactile beauty of regional materials with clean, contemporary geometry. We prioritize material honesty, passive climate responsiveness, and architectural clarity to ensure every structure feels like an organic extension of its landscape.

The Person Behind the Practice
Designing spaces that connect cities and mountains.
Some of the most meaningful lessons in design were never taught in a classroom. They came from observing how people live, interact, gather, and create memories within a space.
After graduating in 2021, I began my professional journey working on residential, commercial, and hospitality projects across Chandigarh and Delhi. These experiences exposed me to diverse design philosophies, refined detailing, and the level of precision required to create spaces that remain relevant and meaningful over time.
I founded AKAR Studio with a vision of bringing thoughtful contemporary architecture and interiors to Himachal Pradesh, and in 2024 opened our dedicated design studio in the region. Inspired by the design culture and professional standards of cities like Chandigarh and Delhi, the studio bridges modern design thinking with the unique character, landscape, and lifestyle of the hills.
My work is influenced by two worlds: the energy and ambition of modern cities, and the calm, contextual beauty of the mountains. This balance continues to guide every project we undertake—creating spaces that are functional, timeless, and deeply connected to the people who use them.
Beyond architecture, you will often find me on a tennis court, in the gym, or exploring new places. These experiences reinforce values that I bring into my work every day: discipline, consistency, curiosity, and a constant desire to improve.
